BIAAF convoca la VII edición de su concurso internacional de moda

Esta edición del concurso organizado por BIAAF contará con 25.000 euros en premios en dos categorías: diseño de prendas de vestir y diseño de complementos.

|19.10.2019| BIAAF -Bilbao International Art & Fashion- lanza la séptima edición de su concurso internacional de diseño de moda. El certamen tiene por objetivo descubrir nuevos talentos de la moda de todo el mundo entre 18 y 35 años.

En los últimos años el concurso de BIAAF se ha convertido en un referente internacional con más de 1.700 participantes de 90 países en su última edición y más de 100 apariciones en medios de comunicación.

En esta edición el premio constará de 25.000EUR entre las dos categorías: diseño de prendas de vestir y diseño de complementos, pudiéndose presentar los diseñadores a ambas categorías. La organización anunciará en las próximas semanas novedades sobre esta nueva edición y los miembros del jurado.

Plazos del concurso

  • Inscripciones abiertas del 1 de octubre al 16 de diciembre de 2019.
  • 17 de febrero de 2020: último día de recepción en nuestras instalaciones para la primera sesión del jurado.
  • 11 de Marzo 2020: selección de finalistas por el jurado.
  • 22 de Mayo 2020 (fecha por confirmar): anuncio de ganadores de las diferentes categorías por parte del jurado internacional.
  • Junio 2020: entrega de premios e inauguración de la exposición internacional con los diseños ganadores y finalistas.

Bilbao International Art & Fashion (BIAFF)

BIAAF es la plataforma europea líder en diseño de moda emergente, tras 13 años de andadura, BIAAF está en conexión con unas 700 escuelas y ha alcanzado a unos 5.000 diseñadores de todo el mundo a través de sus actividades.

«Nuestro principal objetivo es dar visibilidad internacional a diseñadores emergentes de todo el mundo, potenciar su empleabilidad y ofrecerles una educación de alto rendimiento a través de programas de becas que les permita desarrollarse como profesionales, siempre con una visión de la industria de la moda responsable con el medioambiente y respetuosa con los Derechos Humanos» apuntan desde la organización.

BIAAF colabora de forma continuada con universidades y entidades culturales de prestigio internacional que contribuyen a la captación y formación del talento de todo el mundo, entre ellas: Universidad de Navarra,  Fashion Institute of Technology de Nueva York, Universidad de las Artes de Londres, Polimoda de Florencia, Istituto Marangoni de Milán, Shenkar College de Tel Aviv, Kyoto Seika University, Bunka Gakuen University de Tokyo, Museo Guggenheim Bilbao, Cristóbal Balenciaga Mueseoa, entre otras.

BIAAF announces the VII edition of its international fashion contest

This edition of the contest organized by BIAAF will have 25,000 euros in prizes in two categories: clothing design and accessories design.

| 19.10.2019 | BIAAF -Bilbao International Art & Fashion- launches the seventh edition of its international fashion design competition. The event aims to discover new fashion talents from around the world between 18 and 35 years.

In recent years, the BIAAF contest has become an international benchmark with more than 1,700 participants from 90 countries in its latest edition and more than 100 media appearances.

In this edition, the prize will consist of EUR 25,000 between the two categories: clothing design and accessories design, and designers can present both categories. The organization will announce in the coming weeks news about this new edition and the members of the jury.

Contest Deadlines

  • Registration open from October 1 to December 16, 2019.
  • February 17, 2020: Last day of reception at our facilities for the first session of the jury.
  • March 11, 2020: selection of finalists by the jury.
  • May 22, 2020 (date to be confirmed): announcement of winners of the different categories by the international jury.
  • June 2020: awards ceremony and opening of the international exhibition with the winning and finalist designs.
