| 25.07.2019 | The José Mª Amat Amer de Elda Footwear Museum, Aquora Business Education and Flip Flop College have signed a collaboration agreement. Its objective is to give national and international projection to specialized training programs in the fashion and footwear sector. They will do it from next autumn through the courses Expert in design and creation of footwear and Product Merchandiser.

Solution to lack of footwear experts

The managing partner of Aquora, Juan Carlos Requena, has advanced that «we will begin by its implantation in Barcelona and in a second phase we will take it to the main capitals. We believe that this specific preparation is very necessary due to the current lack of qualified experts in a sector that demands more specialists adapted to the new needs «.

Expertise and innovation in footwear

The agreement includes the development of other innovative programs specialized in the footwear and fashion sector. This has been confirmed by the director of Flip Flop College, Ana León, who has been convinced that «after successfully testing these proposals in Alicante and Madrid, the time has come to make the national and international leap. We have aroused great interest among students from all over Spain and from other countries such as Italy and Canada. »

The director of the Footwear Museum, Loles Esteve, explains that the role of this institution is «to serve as a common thread with the sector, providing knowledge, experience and expert teaching staff; as well as facilitating an ideal environment in which to deliver these programs.»

The qualification of Expert in Design and Creation of Footwear includes «an integral formation of the whole process. From the idea to the putting in the shop window; starting from the design and the latest trends in fashion, pattern and production and completing it with eCommerce, Marketing and communication. There is no other program as complete in the market, «says León, who advances that the next edition will be held between October 2019 and March 2020.
