Call for the presentation of applications for Look Forward 2020
Look Forward by Showroomprive.com -the first European incubator dedicated to the fashion and retail industry- opens a new call to recruit its 5th startup promotion for 2020.
| 24.10.2019 | The objective of this new season: to strengthen its international ambition and open up to the eco-responsible solutions that will transform electronic commerce. Look Forward, launched in 2015 by the founders of Showroomprive, David Dayan and Thierry Petit, is a free accompaniment program that every year supports twenty startups wanting to transform our ways of producing, designing and consuming fashion, Retail and beauty
Certified as «Grand Lieu d’Innovation» by the Ile-de-France region since 2017, Look Forward is a true accelerator for incubated French and international startups, which benefit from a customized program. For its 2020 edition, Look Forward It wants to strengthen its international ambition by favouring the presence of international startups. The incubator also wants to support young companies that offer ecologically responsible solutions to e-retailers. The partners of Look Forward, Carrefour and Beauté Privée will continue to be involved with startups. Season 2019, Carrefour followed six startups and is currently implementing tests (POC) with two of them.
Look Forward 2020
In 2020, for the fifth consecutive year, Look Forward will host between 15 and 20 innovative startups from the fashion, retail and beauty industries, including 5 international projects. Selected startups will benefit from personalized support that includes:
- A work space conducive to its development, within the company’s facilities
- A personalized follow-up, which will allow you to meet the professionals and experts of Showroomprive in numerous fields, among others: legal, digital acquisition, SEO / SEM, logistics, UX / UI …
- An extensive network of contacts through access to the ecosystem of Look Forward and Showroomprive (33 million members, more than 2,500 associated brands, more than 50 startups that have already been incubated, investment funds, expert partners …)
- Access to free services provided by Showroomprive (shootings, presentation videos, UX audits, Google Analytics, etc.)

All those ambitious and innovative startups, which aim to transform the fashion, retail and beauty industries, are invited to submit their applications to join the Look Forward incubation program before October 28, through www.lookforwardproject.com
Selection criteria:
- DNA fashion / retail / beauty & digital
- A product / service marketed or about to be
- International will and project scalability
- And finally and above all: an ambitious team and a good idea
Selection committee
After a thorough study and a pre-selection of dossiers, about thirty startups have been invited to present their solution. They will do it in front of a jury of experts in fashion, retail and digital on November 14. At the end of the deliberations, between 15 and 20 startups will be selected.
