Music & Fashion: International Keyboard Festival & Masterclass (IKFEM)
The International Keyboard Festival & Masterclass (IKFEM) celebrates its seventh edition this year from July 14 to 21 under the slogan «Music & Fashion».
| 18.07.2019 | The objective of IKFEM, created in 2013, is to promote a professional space for cultural enrichment and the promotion of new talents. This edition has opted to highlight the relationship between music and Spanish and Portuguese fashion; two artistic expressions that feedback to show us a perfect symbiosis of historical identity.
Fashion Bridge
On Friday July 19 at 20:15, with limited capacity and under the name «Fashion Bridge«, will be celebrated for the first time in history, a fashion show at the International Bridge that unites Tui and Valença. The designs of the Spanish Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada and the Portuguese Katty Xiomara will be on the catwalk.
Fashion Bridge is an event that seeks to bring the music and fashion of both cultures together in the same space, making the International Bridge the bridge of fashion. IKFEM also proposes a wide range of cultural proposals that allow the public to enjoy the heritage of this cross-border territory in a different way.
The connections between music, fashion and tradition are also reflected in the show of O Fiadeiro and ESADg, which will take place on Wednesday, July 17 at 10 pm at the Teatro de Tui. It is a staging that mixes dances and Galician and Portuguese traditions, music and interpretation, where the costumes have a fundamental role.
