Great success in the final of SEAT textile Challenge, by AITEX-UPV
On May 31, the final of the SEAT Textile Challenge organized by the AITEX-UPV took place at the SEAT Martorell facilities.
| 18.06.2019 | The objective of this contest was the resolution of the challenge posed by SEAT: How to improve the user experience through textile technology?. More than 90 initial ideas were presented in which UPV students of different grades have worked.
Prior to the final held at SEAT, on May 23 the AITEX semifinal took place. During the day the 7 semi-finalist teams were presented where they had the opportunity to present their projects and prototypes before the jury made up of representatives from SEAT, AITEX and the UPV.
The finalist projects
- «Safety belt more comfortable and with warning signal» by Christian Fuentes, María Pérez and María Sancho.
- «Adaptability according to the driver» by Coral Vidal, David Mínguez, Víctor Vidal and Laura Díaz
- «Textile of the environment» by Javier Romera, Sara Peris, Carlos Abianza and Gabriel Mateu.
- «Make a car and help save the planet» by Jorge Ortiz, Juan Campos, Fernando José López and Sergio Rodríguez.
- «At the wheel of a Seat, live more and better» by Víctor Silvestre and Iñaki Blanquer.
- «Thermochromic tint» by Raquel Polo, José Mª García and Sergi Pérez.
- «What colour do you feel today?» By Cristina Mira, María Berruezo and María Román.
